At the end of March/beginning of April, I will be visiting Germany for three (so far) readings out of Şimdi heißt jetzt. In Stuttgart, Cologne and Munich we will read from our book and will also be accompanied by live music twice.
Şimdi heißt jetzt on stage
At the upcoming readings of Maviblau we will take our audience with us into everyday life in Istanbul. In a changing cast, we read from our book Şimdi heißt jetzt from personal experiences of our 15 book authors – vibrant, honest, humorous, and sometimes melancholic. From these different perspectives, a complex picture of cultural influences, social ideas and individual dreams emerges. The authentic tone and sensitive approach allow for both an intense and close examination of life in Turkey.
Two of our readings are musically accompanied – All three also provide a sneak peek at the powerful illustrations, which give the book its own unique perspective on Istanbul and daily life in Turkey. Our illustrator, Eva Feuchter, will be present at the reading in Cologne.
The readings are in German
